What POISE stores and who sees it

POISE is the parent booster organization for Shrewsbury High School Speech & Debate. This site helps families sign up to judge and helps the board and coaches run tournaments.

What we store: parent and guardian names, email addresses, and phone numbers; student names, school email, class year, and team status; judging sign-ups, training sign-ups, and judging attendance; and whether each student’s membership fee is paid. Payments are made on Zeffy; we only see the payment record, never card details.

Who sees it: each family sees only its own information. POISE board members and the team’s coaches can see all families, and must use two-factor sign-in to do so. We don’t sell or share this information.

Emails: we send sign-in codes, tournament and training reminders, and occasional check-ins. Every reminder has a link to stop that type of email.
